DJ Karnage was literally into music from birth, courtesy of his Dad who got him his first record player at the age of 4. He has been in love with music ever since.
His style of Dj’ing tends to be Club Style but.. he is always mixing and experimenting with genre to genre, not being afraid to switch it up and keep it fresh.
Firstly dabbling with Bedroom DJ’ing from his teens and took the plunge into Mobile Dj'ing on the recommendation of many of his work mates, who looked forward to the daily playlists.
He's been entertaining ever since.
He hosted a weekly show for Funky SX & honed a particular style that always keeps listeners on their toes. Loving to dig deep into the dance vault.
His musical influences are varied and his heart is always with Old Skool, including Electro, Hip Hop, Dance ,House, Rave, Trance and a sprinkle of vocal D'n'B.
His go to's are Loose Ends, Soul II Soul, S.O.S Band, Luther Vandross & Change. Also The Prodigy, Kosheen, Aphrodite, LT Bukem & even Pendulum..
He’s thrilled to be welcomed to the Streetsounds lineup , as it has shaped his musical taste over the decades.
