I got my first decks in 82, DJed all the youth clubs and house parties in my area for many years.
Buying all great jazz funk soul, hip hop and dance music that was around in the early 80’s.
You would find me in JiFS records Chadwell Heath most Saturdays, usually with Steve Davis looking at me thinking who’s this kid !
Obviously picking up all the Street Sounds albums !
Started getting into the house scene in the late 80’s playing clubs and radio stations in east London. With residencies in a few clubs in London and Essex.
I Started making music in the 90’s. Our label was a favourite of John Peels and we ended up being invited to do a Peel session.
I have never lost my love for great music, keeping myself busy with radio a club and bar work over the years.
Recently I have been running a club classics night in Chelmsford covering soul, funk, hip hop and house music.
So happy to be joining the Street Sounds team, it such an iconic label.
