Street Sounds Radio Presenter

They call me the Essex Girl Tan or EGT for short! I am a lover of 80’s soul, funk and disco, R&B, hip-hop, reggae, and classic house. I grew up in Essex frequenting the soul scene in the 80’s at the likes of the Goldmine, Zero 6 and also attending the infamous Radio London’s “Soul Night Out” events. I regularly tuned in to radio stations such as LWR, and Radio London listening to the likes of the legendary Greg Edwards, Steve Walsh, Tony Blackburn, Robbie Vincent, and David Rodigan for the reggae to name a few. My love of soul, funk and disco led to a natural progression in to the House music scene in the early 90s making a massive impact on my life and also my purse due to me being a vinyl junkie! Despite the explosion of house music, soul, funk and disco has always been my roots, passion and first love. Catch me on Street Sounds Radio every Wednesdays 4pm – 7pm for the Mid-week Groove Club
