Jabz got in to music at a young age mostly listening to he's mums soul records. It's was in the first of year senior school at the age of 11 when he found out about pirate radio Fantasy FM and that was it that's what he wanted to do. So, a few months down the line he swapped he's BMX for a set of belt drive turntables and the rest was history. Digging out all he's mum's favourite records, he would play them day and night. Then started saving and buying he's own selection.
Moving forward Jabz was doing house party's around east London and Essex. As luck had it a guy at a party run a pirate station and asked me to go on so he jumped at the opportunity and was on the station for 7 years. Also playing at many events over across London & Essex when Matt Jam Lamont form Kiss 100 heard a mix tape and asked me to guess mix on Kiss 100 he did that a few times and also did a couple of quest shows on BBC 1xtra. Jabz also ran a record label with one of the releases getting to number 2 in the Kiss 100 chart.
Jabz contuines to play the music he loves, Soul Funk & Rare groove. To this day, Jabz plays lots of vinyl and is always digging in to the crates to find them hidden gems.
