Marc began his journey as a house party DJ in the mid-80s, inspired by a deep-rooted love of Jazz Funk, Electro and Hip Hop. From spinning records at local parties, Marc quickly moved into the pubs and clubs of Southeast London, building a reputation for eclectic taste, energy and musical knowledge. His growing profile led him to legendary venues including the iconic Wag Club and Spatz, immersing him in the vibrant underground culture that would shape the next phase of his career. As the Acid House movement exploded, Marc followed the evolving scene alongside pioneers such as Andy Weatherall, making regular pilgrimages north to experience sets from influential DJs including Mike Pickering and Graeme Park. Alongside DJing, Marc’s role at Warner Music opened the door to the wider music industry, bringing him into contact with key cultural figures including Tony Wilson, Alan McGee and Chris Blackwell, as well as ground breaking artists such as 808 State, Coldcut and Betty Boo. These experiences sparked a passion for the creative and production side of the business, leading Marc into music production and later into radio, where he established himself as both a presenter and radio producer. In 2016, Marc launched Roulette Records, an independent label dedicated to forward-thinking music and emerging talent. He later created Evolution Music — recognised as the world’s first bio-based record producer — combining innovation, sustainability and music culture in a unique way. Marc is also currently involved in developing a new vinyl pressing plant and studio complex in Brighton alongside a number of heavyweight DJs and producers. Above all, Marc is a lifelong music lover. Music runs through his veins and continues to drive everything he does. Over the years, he has earned the support and respect of artists, DJs and industry figures including Chad Jackson, Debby Lee, Greg Wilson, Timo Garcia, Norman Cook, Ninja Tune, Jon DaSilva, Mike Pickering and many more.
