Paul Saxon

Paul, like all our presenters at Street Sounds Radio had a fascination with music from a young age. Growing up in Kent his young teenage years saw him frequent discos at Donnington Manor near Sevenoaks most Friday night’s before later in life becoming a resident DJ there. Paul recalls Chez Moi in Tunbridge Wells a regular haunt as well before becoming part of the residency at Victories Cabaret Club near Maidstone. Alongside his resident DJing Paul owned and run a successful mobile disco for 15 years.
Paul had his first brush with the law as a 16-years-old working on site with a pirate radio station, seeing the error of his ways he joined Pembury Hospital Radio before moving to bigger and better stations across the UK as a freelance radio presenter.
Paul say’s “I’ve relocated many times to work for stations across the UK, met many great people and seen lots of places I never knew existed”.
Paul has come full circle playing the music he loved when he first started and next to the county he grew up in (Kent). Paul say’s “One of my favourite songs is We are Family - Sister Sledge and here I am playing it again with the Street Sound Family, happy days”

Our message is in the music, we are one family under a groove! Street Sounds has had vinyl running through its veins since 1982.
