Andy’s journey into music and broadcasting began at just 16 years old, when he took to the airwaves on pirate radio stations including Radio TKO, Starpoint FM, Juice FM and Solar Radio.

By the early 1990s, Andy was also making his mark on the club scene, securing residencies at Tee’s Nightclub, Secrets and Hollywoods in Romford, and Stars in Greenwich.

His big break came in 1994 with Club SE8 in Deptford, which Andy co-ran as well as DJing at. The club welcomed an impressive roster of guest DJs, including Judge Jules, Steve Proctor, Danny Rampling, Pete Wardman, Graham Gold, Sarah HB and Jeremy Healy, among many others.

Further residencies followed at Club UK in London and the Leisure Lounge in Holborn, establishing Andy firmly within the capital’s dance music scene.

In 1996, Andy took another major step when he formed Mr & Mrs Smith and released the trance anthem Gotta Get Loose on Slamm Records. The track was subsequently signed to Red Jerry’s Hooj Choons and reached No.1 in the RM, DMC and DJ charts.

Gotta Get Loose went on to achieve national chart success and received support from some of the biggest names in dance music, including Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold and Graham Gold, with airplay across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and Capital Radio’s dance shows.

As UK Garage exploded onto the scene, Andy embraced another chapter in his broadcasting career, presenting a dedicated UK Garage show on Upfront FM between 1998 and 2000.

He later returned to his mainstream dance roots with an eight-year residency at Storm, also known as Talk Nightclub — before going on to form The Penthouse in Leicester Square, which enjoyed an incredible ten-year run.

Today, Andy remains a true musical connoisseur, bringing decades of club and radio experience together with his own unique, knowledgeable and dynamic presenting style.

In recent years, he has hosted shows on FunkySX and Centerforce, while continuing to entertain dancefloors with club residencies at The Vine and CoCo in Southend.

From pirate radio and legendary London clubs to chart success and decades behind the microphone, Andy’s career has always been driven by a passion for discovering, playing and sharing great music.

Andy is continuously in the studio, producing and remixing — creating new music and continuing to evolve his sound.
