Barry Bee

Songwriter, producer and DJ Barry Bee began his broadcasting career on London’s legendary LWR Radio in the 1980s, where his distinctive mixing style quickly became an important part of his sound.

Barry’s career has since taken him well beyond the radio studio and into the world of songwriting and music production, working with an impressive range of internationally recognised artists including Leona Lewis, Sugababes, Sheryl Crow and Sounds of Blackness.

At the heart of Barry’s work is UEG Music, where he is the driving force behind a variety of commercial music projects. Just as importantly, Barry is passionate about supporting the next generation of artists, using his experience, knowledge and company resources to help young, unsigned local talent develop their music and build their careers.

With decades of experience across radio, DJing, songwriting and production, Barry brings a unique understanding of music to everything he does — combining an appreciation of the classics with an ear firmly tuned to what’s happening today.
