Dave Bee

Born and raised in the musical city of Liverpool, Dave Bee has been surrounded by music for as long as he can remember.

With a lifelong passion for Funk, Soul, Disco, Philly Sound and Motown, great music has always been at the heart of everything Dave does.

His journey behind the decks began in 1985, spinning vinyl and developing the musical knowledge and appreciation for timeless grooves that continue to influence his selections today. What started as a love of records grew into a lifelong passion for discovering, collecting and, most importantly, sharing great music.

Decades later, during the COVID lockdown, Dave found a new way to share that passion.

Moving from the decks to the online airwaves, he began broadcasting and connecting with fellow music lovers around the world. What initially started as a lockdown project soon developed into something much bigger.

Dave went on to present shows with JFSR and Soul Groove Radio, building his reputation as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic broadcaster before bringing his experience and musical passion to Street Sounds Radio.

Whether behind the decks or behind the microphone, Dave’s approach remains the same — carefully selected music, a genuine enthusiasm for what he plays and a desire to keep his listeners entertained.
